About the Doctor

Dr. Frank Schwender is originally from Freiberg, Germany. He attended the University of Leipzig Medical School in Germany and graduated in 1995. He traveled to the United States where he received his board certification in internal medicine, cardiology, and electrophysiology. He completed his internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital (Detroit, Michigan), cardiology fellowship at University of Tennessee (Memphis, Tennessee), and electrophysiology at Duke University (Durham, North Carolina)
